Life is crazy busy...

How is yours?

I made this super easy board to hold all of Lex's artwork. The kid comes home with like 3 pages from preschool. We will have to change the board weekly. Instructions are HERE. She has some really fun ideas. I did add the yoyo's at each end to cover up where we screwed it into the wall.

Vinyl has been crazy! Its been fun though - I'm doing like 3 Super Saturday's. It is so fun to see all the different projects. I have so many ideas for Christmas now I don't even know where to start. In between all the vinyl craziness I went a little crazy decorating our entry way.

Lex went a little crazy while I was taking pictures of it....

Speaking of Mr. Lex W, he went on his first field trip for preschool. They got to go to the pumpkin patch. He rode a bus and everything! They even got to pick out pumpkins to take home. His was awesome and he was proud! He's also hiding a candy bar behind his back in this picture. Silly boy!

We have not been playing enough of this lately!

Rockband is awesome and you should play it!

It's been awhile...

How do people blog everyday? I will never know - I always want to be better and I just never can do it. Here is my view outside the office window right now...

Today has been great! Nice and relaxing. We ran some errands this morning went to lunch at MCD's - we even got to go in - Lex was happy about that one. Then we came home - Carl worked on his RC Car, Lex ran around & I cleaned out my car. Now Lex and Carl are outside with the rest of the neighborhood children. They all seem to swarm when the RC Car is out and about. Then Lex pulls out the Popsicles and they stay awhile. It's great, both my boys love it. I do to since I am inside with myself listening to Bishop Allen catching up on my blog. I found the Bishop Allen cd while cleaning out my car. I forgot how much I love them. They make me happy.

Now down to business....

Turns out we didn't freeze like I thought we would in Redfish. Nor did we get eaten by the big red fish (haha Bonnie!). But we did get to see them jump up the dam. It was sooo cool. We went to the fish hatchery and they were going crazy! Jumping and flopping all about. Not a good picture but you get the idea.

The hungry boys just came in so I will have to finish the update later.

Were off...

leaving bright and early to freeze our butts off @ Red Fish. It's our first, and I'm sure last camping trip of the year. Hopefully I will take tons of pictures so I have a good excuse to buy this paper!

Have a GREAT labor day weekend! On Monday morning when you are sleeping in, all cozy and warm in your beds think of me sleeping in a tent on the nice hard ground probably freezing to death.

Weeks Review

So a lot has happened this week. Saddle up partner - It's going to be a long post.
Last Wednesday Carl and I celebrated 9 years of wedded bliss. Yes I said 9! I cant believe it either. It seems like yesterday.

Please note: It was a windy day and I am really not sure what is going on with my hair

Sometime over the weekend I made some really yummy cupcakes that I found on a blog. I cant remember who's it was but you use this recipe for the cupcakes (Its a strange site - the recipe is towards the bottom of the page.) and this recipe for the frosting. They were super tasty.

Anyway the reason I tell you all this - we renewed our wedding vows with one of the cupcakes. I had just got my self a Dt. Dr. P and a scrumptious cupcake when Carl walked up and acted like he was going to take a bite. Then he shoved it in my face. 2" of frosting went up my nose. I was pissed and tried to smash what was left in his face of course I miss and it lands on the ground so I get as much frosting in my hand and wipe it all over his face. It was funny afterward - so we decided since we didn't do the whole frosting thing all over the face at our wedding 9 years later was better late than never.

My scrap break is over and here is what I did for moments...

It was a great way to end my "break". I loved these papers - so fun!

On Monday this guy started Preschool. He is going to a preschool that is also a daycare. I think he will do much better there than in someones basement sitting in a chair for 2 hours. Last year did not go well and he only went until October. The one he is going to now is much more hands on learning and they have like 5 teachers. He even gets to take his own lunch. He loves his Spiderman bag from the target dollar bin. He begged to go yesterday. He was so funny he said all the teachers wanted me to come back today! We are hoping this year goes much better.

Random Thoughts

So its been awhile has it! I don't really have much to blog about. Life is crazy as usual. Here are some random thoughts that I have thought lately. (say that 10 times fast!)
  1. Water makes me pee --- a lot
  2. I am taking a small like 2 week (its almost over) scrap break. Here is my thoughts - I never think I do it enough (scrap booking that is - geesh get your mind out of the gutter!) and I always think I should. So I am taking a break so I wont feel guilty.
  3. Why doesn't anyone in Idaho Falls carry the LOVE ELSIE stuff? I DO LOVE ELSIE! and cosmo and october afternoon and pink paisley and and and.......
  4. I hate white sunglasses
  5. I wish we could sell a house
  6. I want to learn how to sew - the apron (my dads still wears on occasion) that I made in the 7th grade does not count. I want to make this. Cute huh - I bought the pattern so am I a little closer.
  7. Lex and Carl make me laugh everyday - that makes me happy.
  8. Wish I could go shopping and eat sno-cones with this girl every day.
  9. I wish the person who has checked out the work and the glory Vol. 4 on CD from the Idaho Falls Library would take it back. I would like a turn.
  10. Happy Birthday to Jimmy John Sandwich - you know who you are! Your finally as old as me! I hope you have a great day!
  11. Loving this girls playlist. I heart Bon Jovi. Thanks for reminding me!
  12. I wish we could sell a freakin house - like yesterday.
  13. Missing these guys.

WARNING: Gross!

Lex apparently has allergies. His eyes were so red and puffy today he could barley see. So we went down to the WalMart and got some medicine. A couple of hours later he kept asking for a drink and said his mouth tasted yucky.

This is a conversation that followed....

ME: Did the drink help your mouth taste better?

LEX: No, but when I eat my boogers then it tastes better.

YUCKY! Boys are gross!

So I leave you with this and hopefully you wont have to eat boogers to get the gross taste out of your mouth.

Well I was going to post a picture but the computer is stupid or blogger is stupid or maybe I am stupid.
