Long haired hippie people!

HELP! Carl is on a hair cut strike! He says he doesn't have the will power for a hunger strike. He won't cut his hair until one of these houses sell! Its getting bad! OK so it's not as bad as Harry Dunn's. If you have seen Carl before the last few months you know he usually keeps his hair short. Really short like #3 guard short. We usually buzz it right off. I am really looking forward to when the strike is over.

Easter cont.

Day 2
We went to church and Lex wore the cute outfit my mom got for him. She found it on Target's website for like $7 for everything except the shoes.

Sorry the picture is blurry Lex cant hold still for the life of him!

I made these little cute handouts for my young woman. I found them from this girl and this site. I'm not much on digital scrap booking but these were fast and easy!

Then we went to Grandma Tolley's for dinner and fun! We ate lots of yummy food!

I got the recipe for the yummy veggie pizza HERE. They have the best recipes. They are usually so easy and you can actually find all the ingredients. I hate recipes that have stuff in them I've never heard of.

Cute nieces in their Easter dresses.

We saw a mangy moose in the field behind my parents house and then the hair coloring began...

McKale got a barbie for Easter that included a hair coloring gadget. It was actually pretty fun. Everyone Else's has dark hair so it didn't show up as well, but since I'm a natural blond - hehe she went to town on my hair. Luckily it washed out!

Easter weekend pictures!

DAY 1

It started Saturday morning. We took Lex to the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. It was so much fun but freezing cold!

Lex found lots of eggs with Carl's help! Lex showing off his goods!
Later on Saturday Lex requested we go to Grandma Rosie's to dye Easter Eggs. She was kind enough to let us come. I don't think Grandma's have "no" in their vocabulary. We had the first grilled burger of the year and lots of other good food! Yummy!

Uncle Paul practicing his balancing during the prayer. (I don't know who took this picture because we were all being very reverent!) OK - The truth about the picture is I tried to take it during the prayer and missed so I had him pose for this one.

I don't know where this kid got his sense of humor from?

Tyger boys sure know how to dye good eggs!

Then the real fun began when we tattooed are young! Actually we tattooed everyone! Luckily they were just temporary. Although none were as good (good meaning big) as the one Paul sported on St. Patrick's Day.

Febuary 7th? That was my last posting! Yikes! I've been a slacker! So.....
Happy Valentines Day
too late for that

Happy St. Patrick's Day
too late for that one too!

Happy Easter!
still too late!

I will post some pictures of our fun Easter Weekend as soon as I learn how to use photoshop... Maybe that's not a good idea, that might be awhile! OK so I wont wait until I learn how to use it - I'll figure something out. I took the Kodak software off my computer hoping that would make me figure out how to use elements. Well that was several months ago and I don't think it was such a great idea!

Anyway it was a wild weekend that included tattoo's and hair coloring. Not just blond or brown hair coloring I'm talkin' pink and blue. Pictures coming soooon......................

Lets clarify ....

a little -

I have 3 nieces - they are ALL my favorite!
I have 5 sister in laws and they are ALL my favorite!
I have 5 nephews - they are ALL my favorite!
I have 3 brother in laws and yes they are ALL my favorite!

They are all my favorite and all for different reasons!

So I had the weirdest conversation the other day. Heres how it went down...

Me: "Hello"

Lady: "Hello Jessica this is soandso (names have been with held to protect the innocent) I was wondering if I could still come and visit you this afternoon?"

Me: "Yes that's fine, but if you want we could do a phone visit since the roads are so bad. Are you OK to drive on the slick roads?"

Lady: "Yes I'm fine I was just drinking milk."

Me: (thinking inside my head) WHAT???? Congrats on the milk drinkin!
What I really said: "Ok we'll seen you soon."

So I start thinkin' - does this lady think that I think she is some kind of drunk? I have no reason to think that - I hardly know her. Then I decide not to care because she is crazy. And I am totally normal and not crazy at alllllllllllllllllllllll.

So last night we put Lex to bed and went into our bathroom to get our selves ready for bed. To our horror we found a WAR in our closet. There were many fallen soldiers as you will see in the pictures.

We will announce the date and time of their memorial service.

Anyone seen an ipod?

I lost my IPod and I'm sad. I am frantically cleaning out drawers and such. The sad thing is I had it in my hand on Sunday and I put it down somewhere and I've been looking for it ever since. It's all my fault. Maybe it grew legs and walked away. If so please walk back to me ipod - I miss you!

Happy Birthday Christi!

We had Christi a birthday party last night and I didnt delete the pictures this time! Go me!

Rosie made a yummy cake and Lex got to help blow out the candles! (I think he only spit a little tiny bit)

Christi is my favorite sister in law because she is so dang cute! She has great style - she cooks really yummy food, and she adores her hubby! They are a great example of a happy couple. Their son, Hudson is 7 months old and walking! He is a very happy little guy - I think its because he is so loved!

Happy Birthday Christi!
