Happy Birthday Dad!

Yesterday was my dad's 60th Birthday. We had a fun party, complete with lots of balloons and yummy food!

Moments projects

Here is the Moments projects I did this month for ETM. I loved this months papers - so fun to work with. The rub ons were also awesome! They were the nice ones that go on very easily and there is a ton of them. Enough you can spell every word in the dictionary. At least every word in the dictionary I know the meaning of any way.

I really like doing the kit. I have been looking through old pictures that I want to scrap but just haven't done yet, to find ones that will go with the papers. They are not in order by date at all, but I don't care because at least I am getting it done.

Grandma Rosie's birthday in 2004. She got a birthday bear from Build a Bear, that sings. Lex absolutely loved it.

They day Hudson Gray Tyger was born. I can't believe it was almost 1 year ago. I remember looking at Paul & Hudson through the hospital glass. Paul was so cute he was just grinning from ear to ear. Christi was amazing and looked great after just having a baby, still with makeup and earrings on.

Michelle's graduation in 2002. I flew to Tennessee with her parents and brother. I have more pictures I think I am going to add a second page to this one.

More Vegas pictures. OK these are going to be totally random! For one I don't know how to use blogger and whenever I load a new picture it goes to the top even when I don't want it to. For two at this point I don't know what order they should be in. Lets just be honest.

Paul and Carl with the Van Halen tickets! Expensive pieces of paper but they said it was an awesome concert! Carl is a concert virgin - well not anymore Van Halen has taken that away from him and I think he thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a mentioned that Carl is on a hair cut strike? Well he is - more on that later.

The first picture we took after dropping our camera in the middle of a casino. Let me rephrase that, Carl dropped the camera but it was my fault.

This is about 1 hour into the trip. Lex slept all the way to SLC. We didn't leave Idaho until about 7 p.m. so I was afraid he wouldn't sleep when we got to the hotel. To my surprise he slept all night!

This is the gas station where Lex HAD to go to the bathroom. We were driving down the highway on our way home and Lex said in a very panicked voice, "I gotta go poop". We weren't sure where the next gas station was so we pulled off at the next exit. We drive down the road in the middle of no where. Finally there is a sign that says the town is 7 miles away. To which I said to Lex you better really need to go. Lex is what you would call a "home pooper". Ya know the type that just needs to be in the comfort of their own home to go. I guess he gets stage fright. Anyway we stop at the one and only gas station and rush to the potty. It was a good thing we stopped, I'm pretty sure he was prairie doggin' it. Anyway I think the town was called Kanosh - nice folks if you ever need to use the facilities. It's somewhere between here and Vegas. Now Lex can say he pooped in Kanosh. Can you?

Mountains anyone?

Lex's favorite part of the trip was the pool at the St. George hotel. I am really glad we drove for 4 days so swimming could be his favorite part.

I think this bucket of crab legs and various other things were Carl's favorite part of the trip, next to the concert of course. If we had a Joe's Crab Shack I would be in trouble. At least they had chicken.

We went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay it was really cool. Lex got a hat for free and a really expensive piece of crap water gun. I think the hat lasted longer than the water gun - but that's OK he was one happy boy to get it.

This was inside the shark reef again not sure what is going on inside this kids head but he makes me laugh!

We moved...

and no it didn't take us 2 weeks! I just am a crappy blogger. It's not that I didn't want to blog it's just I need a few more hours in the day.Old House

I was going to show you a picture of the new house but I cant find one. I could get off my butt and go outside and take one but its windy and I don't want to. Maybe later.

We also went to Viva Las Vegas last weekend. It was fun - we drove there with Carl's brother (from the same mother hehe) Paul, his wife Christi and their baby Hudson. We all loaded up in Grandpa's Suburban and away we went. I was a little nervous taken a 4 year old and a 10 month old on such a long road trip. It was so fun! The boys did great! We stopped a lot to see all the sites along the way and on the way back. Here are a few fun pictures. I wont share all 223 pictures but here are a few highlights....

Carl eating a bagel breakfast thing at the McDonald's in SLC, Utah. The McDonald's had video games you could play and the food cost double what it does here. You should go!

Mr. Lion playing with the ball - he was fun to watch (2000 other people also found him fun to watch). I'll post more pictures.... I'm not going to say tomorrow because we all know that probably wont happen!

Cute Maddie!

I did something amazing this weekend! I did some pages! It started with the crop on Friday night. In a total of about 4 hours I got 1 page done! Thats right 1 page = 4 hours. Saturday I did much better. I worked on this fun page of my neice Maddie.

I am also starting to do the moments kits for ETM. This month was really fun bright colors.
